Ronan Gilliland

I grew up in Palacio Del Mar, just off the 56, where I met my best friend that moved to a place called Leucadia. After that, Encinitas was always where we met up to go to D Street Beach, watch movies at La Paloma, and practice lacrosse.

I went to Villanova University, which was the only major time I spent away from home. When I graduated, all I really knew is that I was done with the east coast and was ready to be back in the best city in the world. Through an east coast connection, I was introduced to C3bank who was looking to onboard their second relationship manager.

If you look back on my yearbooks, none of them say “when I grow up I want to be a banker”. You will, however, find letters written to my future self to never lose sight of how much people can care about one another and give back to the communities that raised them. I quickly learned that C3bank was much more than just a bank; it is a community resource and a unique way for me to be involved in the community I love so much.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to work in my community every day and the amazing growth that we have all seen Encinitas go through, as well as our surrounding beach towns. Helping out in any capacity that E101 would require is an amazing opportunity that I would be very thankful for.
