Film Series Expands
Formerly a weekend event, the Cottonwood Creek Environmental Film Series has expanded to three monthly film screenings at the Smog Test Only Center, 682 S. Coast Hwy 101. All film screenings are free and take place from 8 pm to 9:30 pm.
Roll up on or in anything besides a gasoline car for a free raffle ticket. Ride a bike, skateboard, strap on your blades, use your feet, charge an electric car or get creative. Hybrid vehicles do not count.
Bring your own beach chair because seating is limited.
This event is presented by the Downtown Encinitas MainStreet Association (DEMA) to help promote downtown Encinitas and raise environmental awareness. DEMA is partnering with The Encinitas Environmental Advisory Commission, Chipotle Mexican Grill and The Surfrider Foundation.”

The Cottonwood Creek Environmental Film Series (CCEFS) is organized annually by the Downtown Encinitas MainStreet Association (DEMA). CCEFS expanded from the Cottonwood Creek Environmental Film Festival. The film series will focus on entertaining, educational, and environmental films that are relevant to the community. The evening will include updates from the City’s environmental commission, raffles, and an amazing free film screening right in the heart of downtown Encinitas . The film screenings will be a place for the community to gather, have fun and learn about the amazing programs and events put on by DEMA.
