Thanks for your note. At this point since the event is so soon we aren’t adding any more elements to the event, but we would absolutely love to have you volunteer at the event and maybe we can figure out a way to incorporate you in the event for next year. hi…my friend nancy nelson from common threads just emailed me this link…i own and opporate north county’s ‘premier’ learn-to-sew fashion sewing lounge called ‘Sew Inspired’ in encinitas…gosh, i wish i would have known about about this event sooner! can we do anything to help?

Hi Pat,
Did anyone get back to you yet? I am so happy to hear that you liked the show! It is getting even bigger and better this year. The show will now be from 5pm-8pm and will feature live music, art, sewing, photography exhibits, food and drinks! We will be on the corner of Hwy 101 and F Street, so the show will be outside this year as well. We will definatley need volunteers the night of the show if you are interested! Feel free to stop by the DEMA office any time and we can talk about the event!

I attended the show last year and LOVED it! I even bought a few of the things shown.

My husband and I are planning to move from Ocean Beach to Encinitas on or before Sept. 1 of this year.

I would love to be involved, if not this year, than perhaps next. I have a background in fashion and worked as a graphic artist for many years. I currently work for San Diego State University as a coordinator, and also do freelance writing. I would be happy to volunteer wherever you need help.
